For decades it hasn’t been uncommon to see Kate Hudson make appearances on late night talk shows, as the prolific and highly regarded actor is often promoting her box office hits and upcoming film projects. But last night was a first for her, as she made her debut music performance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Taking the 30 Rock stage to unveil her new single “Gonna Find Out,” Hudson was accompanied by her new touring band, which includes bass player Joel Gottschalk (Philip Sayce, Rumer Willis).
Equipped with a Fender JMJ Mustang, Gottschalk picked through the soulful rock number, which showcased the impressive vocal range of Hudson.
Hudson’s debut album, Glorious, is set for release on May 17th. A tour with her band is in the works for later in the year.
