Two-time Grammy winner Tori Kelly debuted her Cut music video and gave fans a health update on Wednesday – nine days after her ‘scary’ hospitalization for blood clots.
The 30-year-old SoCal native’s video, directed by Courtney Phillips, begins with her handling the camera lens in a parking lot with pals.
Tori then spins the camera around on a lazy Susan while inside a restaurant as she sings the earworm refrain: ‘It go like, “Da dum, da dum, da” / Go like, “Da dum, da dum, da” / You can get that yesterday / You can get that soon as yesterday.’
Kelly also shot a sequence in a drug store for the track, which appears on her self-titled fourth EP, Tori, that dropped on July 28.
Courtney used special effects to stutter the back-up dancers movements through the shop.

Phillips then ‘stopped time’ inside a packed nightclub by using special effects previously seen in the X-Men films with Quicksilver (Evan Peters) and the Matrix movies.
Among the clubgoers was plus-size IMG Model Ashley Graham, who made a quick cameo in the video as a favor to her famous ‘friend’ because the track was ‘fire.’
The 35-year-old mother-of-three flaunted maximum cleavage in a black bustier and white baggy pants for her ‘video vixen’ moment.
Right before Cut premiered, Tori – who spent July 23-31 being treated for ‘blood clots in her legs and lungs’ at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in LA – took to her Twitch account to reassure her worried fans.
‘I’m feeling so much better. You guys have helped me feel a lot better to be honest,’ Kelly – who boasts 11.3M social media followers – said.
‘Even now just, you know, running tests and figuring everything out but, overall, I do feel better and I’m feeling good and I’m, like, back. I’m home, so that’s obviously a good thing and seeing all of you guys’ comments and love and support just, like, really meant a lot.’
The Missin’ U songstress added: ‘Obviously, I had my EP, like, ready to go. And so I decided I was like, “You know what? I still want to put this out. This music represents such a happy time in my life and y’all been waiting, I’ve been waiting to put this out, like, I don’t want to wait any longer.”‘
Tori also informed her fans that she’s ‘working on rescheduling’ her July 28 concert at The Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood, which was postponed.

‘Obviously, I was gutted that I wasn’t able to do that show,’ Kelly lamented.
‘But yeah, of course I wanna be able to do that show and just get back out and perform in general. I’m so excited and so ready.’
It’s still unclear what precisely caused the Jerry and Marge Go Large star – who’s married to retired German basketball player André Murillo – to collapse at a downtown LA restaurant on July 23.
