Top Gear presenter Paddy McGuinness has revealed that he’s recovering from an operation on his knee after suffering an injury last year. The husband of Christine McGuinness, 48, took to Twitter and Instagram to share the health update, admitting that he was “still sedated” and in hospital as he posted his thoughts on the latest season of Netflix favourite, Ozark.
In view of his 563,200 followers, the Question of Sport host revealed that he’d finally undergone the op and was resting while taking the opportunity to catch up on the hit series.
Paddy wrote: “Been in hospital for a knee op.
“Thought I’d use the time to catch up on Ozark.
“No spoilers here but wtf was that ending?” he added quizzically.

“I had a torn lateral meniscus, along with a blue surgical sock. Both were removed successfully,” he ended his post.
Following his update, Paddy’s celebrity friends rushed to wish the star well, with Strictly Come Dancing’s Ugo Monye writing: “Rest up big man x”
While Paddy’s wife Christine penned: “Nurse McGuinness at your service,” followed by a red heart.
Last September, Paddy took to Instagram to confirm that he would be absent from Soccer Aid 2021, after suffering an injury to his knee.
