Snowd4y has dropped the official music video to “Wah Gwan Delilah,” featuring Drake, and it’s filled with “cameo appearances” by Kai Cenat, Chubbs, Smiley, and more. Check it out below.
The music video was released on Friday through Snowd4y’s YouTube page, and it’s just as odd as the song itself. The visuals are completely animated, starting with Snowd4y playing the guitar in the back of a TTC bus before ending up on the Toronto streets while other people walk around him.
Drizzy shows up in the video riding in the backseat of his Maybach alongside Chubbs while he sings about “Delilah” before he has a double dinner date at Sotto Sotto with Smiley and a pair of women. Cenat makes a cameo when Snowd4y mentions him in the song, sitting in his basement where he films most of his streams.
“Wah Gwan Delilah” is a parody of Plain White T’s No. 1 hit “Hey There Delilah” and was the second featured verse from Drake since he pulled out of the vicious rap battle with Kendrick Lamar. When it first dropped last summer, fans were confused about whether it was an actual track that Drake had laid vocals down or the work of artificial intelligence.
Many ran to social media to poke fun at the parody record, and Drake, along with OVO Hush, confirmed the song was, in fact, real on Instagram.
