Keke Palmer and Kerry Washington stopped by the “Today” show on Monday in New York. Palmer discussed her ongoing “Big Boss” tour, while Washington promoted her memoir, “Thicker Than Water.”
Palmer put a modern spin on preppy style, wearing a white and navy Sergio Hudson skirt suit, which included a cropped blazer with gold hardware and a pleated miniskirt. The singer and actress accessorized with white Christian Louboutin pumps.
Hairdresser Shauna Sterling styled Palmer’s hair in a side part with waves, while makeup artist Kenya Alexis gave her a smoky eye and a bold red lip.

Washington, meanwhile, wore a teal short-sleeve knit top with an orange floral maxiskirt by Oscar de la Renta. The actress also added on gray suede stiletto boots and a small blue flap bag featuring a botanical print.
Styling duo Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn dressed Washington for her “Today” appearance. Zangardi and Haenn also count Jennifer Lopez, Gwen Stefani and Heidi Klum as clients.
Hairdresser Kim Kimble was responsible for Washington’s wavy lob, and makeup artist Carola Gonzalez gave the actress rosy blush paired with a bright red lip.

While the Screen Actors Guild strike has Hollywood on pause, Palmer and Washington have been busy with other projects of their own. Palmer is gearing up to release the deluxe edition of her 2023 album “Big Boss” as she continues a nationwide tour, while Washington’s new memoir, “Thicker Than Water,” came out on Monday.
Speaking to hosts Jenna Bush Hager and Hoda Kotb, Palmer also opened up about becoming a mother. “Being a mom, the process of birthing a child and then just knowing that this person loves me forever, it just gives you a feeling I can’t describe,” she said.
Palmer and Darius Jackson welcomed their first child, a son named Leo, in February.
Washington also sat down with Bush Hager and Kotb to discuss one of the most shocking details from her new book. The actress spoke candidly about discovering that her dad, Earl, wasn’t her biological father.
“It felt like ‘Well, this is a really exciting opportunity for me to learn more about who I am and who I want to be and to also make sense of my life,’” said Washington.
