To celebrate the anniversary of Air Drake, the singer is introducing a lavish collection of comfort wear — featuring $415 socks, a $995 eye mask, and more inspired by Drake’s private jumbo jet.
Drake has dropped a pricey collection of comfort wear inspired by his private jumbo jet, with price tags seemingly only for someone who also owns a private jet. To honor the anniversary of his $185 million plane that he unveiled in 2019, Drake revealed the collection on his Drake Related website — with cashmere socks that cost $415, a blanket that costs over $4,000, an eye mask that’s $995, and more.
“First class anywhere you sit,” reads the Drake Related’s Instagram tagline. “For the first time ever, experience the elevated luxury of Air Drake. @TheElderStatesman crafted an exclusive line of custom hand-spun cashmere socks, eye masks, loungewear, and blankets for your inflight comfort. For a limited time, in commemoration of Air Drake’s anniversary.”
“Drake gotta be outta his damn mind selling one pair of socks for $415,” wrote one disgruntled fan on Twitter. “These shits better have me floating,” wrote another.
While fans have understandably balked at the price tags — particularly for the socks and the blankets — both iterations of the Air Drake hoodie sold out almost immediately. The hoodie went for around $150, making it one of the more reasonably priced items in the luxury clothing collection.
Drake’s custom Boeing 767 jumbo jet was created in 2019 with help from Canadian-based CargoJets, complete with a theater/entertainment room, three fully enclosed master bedrooms, and wholly carpeted flooring, with a capacity to house up to 45 people at once comfortably.
“Supporting homegrown businesses has always been a top priority of mine, so when an opportunity came up to get involved with a great Canadian company, I was honored to do so,” Drake announced at the time.
