Beyonce concert film headed to theaters
Look out Taylor Swift: Another big concert film is headed to theaters. A movie based on Beyoncé’s “Renaissance World Tour” will hit theaters in December. “When I am performing, I am nothing but free,” the singer says in a trailer for “Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé.” “The goal for this tour was to create a place where everyone is free and no one is judged.” The film will open Dec. 1 at AMC, Regal and other movie theaters nationwide. It will be her first theatrical release for a concert film and follows Swift’s “The Eras Tour” concert film which hits theaters this month.
Jodie Turner-Smith divorcing Joshua Jackson
British model-actress Jodie Turner-Smith has filed for divorce from Joshua Jackson after nearly five years together, according to TMZ. Turner-Smith cites “irreconcilable differences” in the filing and seeks joint custody of their 3-year-old daughter, Juno. The former couple met in 2018, got engaged months later and reportedly married at a courthouse. The “Dawson’s Creek” actor has not responded or commented on the split, which occurred last month, according to the court filing.
