Betty White died of natural causes at the age of 99 on December 31. In the days following, many have honoured the late star, with producer Steve Boettcher revealing the actress had recorded a message to her dedicated fans for the upcoming Betty White: A Celebration special 10 days before her death.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, producer Steve revealed that the actress recorded a message to her dedicated fans for the upcoming Betty White: A Celebration special.
He said: “On December 20, she did a short little video for us… it was kind of a tribute to her fans that were going to be with her at the event.
“It’s kind of a shout-out to her fans that she did 10 days before she passed away.
“She looked amazing, she loved getting ‘glammed up,’ as she calls it, in her hair, make-up, she was just striking and beautiful.”

He continued: “She was smiling and really she wanted to thank her fans sincerely, from the bottom of her heart, for all the support over the years.”
Betty White: A Celebration was originally titled Betty White: 100 Years Young – A Birthday Celebration.
The late actress’s birthday was on January 17, marking the show and her 100th birthday.
Betty was best known for starring as Rose in the hit 1980s sitcom The Golden Girls.
“Barack and I join so many around the world who will miss the joy she brought to the world.
“I know Bo is looking forward to seeing her up in heaven.”
Dolly Parton said: “Betty will live forever, not only in this world but the world hereafter. I will always love her. We all will!”
And US President Joe Biden tweeted: “Betty White brought a smile to the lips of generations of Americans.”
