After teasing some long-awaited new music with a series of cryptic Instagram posts, Ariana Grande emerged from the set of a music video last night, and kept us on the edge of our seats with her major monochromatic look.
Styled by Mimi Cuttrell, Grande leaned into neutrals in her all-brown outfit. The focal point was the mahogany colored leather wrap top, complete with long sleeves, a cinched waist, and a deep V-neck, which Grande paired with a matching leather miniskirt. In an adorable finishing touch, she wore brown leather gloves, too. It is a New York winter, after all!
Still, Grande braved the cold in her mini, with only sheer black Wolford stockings covering her legs. The look was completed by black pointy-toed pumps and a pair of small pearl studs. The singer and REM founder kept her Glinda-blonde hair in her trademark high ponytail, and threw on a red lip for extra pop.
This isn’t the first time Grande has rocked a monochromatic look. Earlier this month she joined Mariah Carey and Jennifer Hudson onstage at Madison Square Garden to sing “Oh Santa!” and gave Mrs. Claus a run for her money in a red off-the-shoulder Mirror Palais dress with matching opera gloves and sparkly bedazzled pumps. Watch out everyone, because Ariana Grande is coming for the Christmas crown!
