The NBA’s celebrity row just got a hint of royalty—from the Queen of Genovia herself.
Anne Hathaway graced the squeaky floors of Madison Square Garden last weekend to cheer on the New York Knicks as they played against the Charlotte Hornets (and won). She was pictured sitting courtside in a casually elegant fall ensemble that can be easily recreated with your favorite classic staples.
The ‘fit was composed of a cozy cream knit sweater with ribbed detailing at the sleeves, and a pair of light-wash jeans with frayed hems. Over the sweater, Hathaway layered a brown textured blazer, which matched her brown flats. And to finish the look, she accessorized with gold-rimmed aviator sunglasses from Krewe and tiny gold earrings.
The Princess Diaries star wore natural makeup, a subtle berry lip, and a straight hairdo for the outing.
Hathaway’s style never fails—whether she’s on the red carpet or sitting in a basketball arena on a Sunday. Earlier this month, the actor attended the CFDA Fashion Awards, where she made back-to-back fashion statements in two fabulous designer looks.
The first was a denim masterpiece from Ralph Lauren’s Spring/Summer 2024 Ready-to-Wear collection. The two-piece set consisted of a strapless, button-up bustier and a sweeping maxi skirt with a long train—both in an ethereal, cloudlike print. She added some shimmer to the look with a metallic silver leather top-handle bag from Bulgari, strappy silver Jimmy Choo heels, and layers of Bulgari diamond jewelry.
Her second look of the night was a romantic crimson tulle gown from Rodarte’s Spring/Summer 2018 runway; the feminine piece was embellished with glittering black floral sequins and black embroidery across the bust, shoulders, and skirt. Then, too, Hathaway accessorized with icy white diamonds.
