Angelina Jolie capped off a fabulous appearance at the 81st Venice International Film Festival and immediately made her way to Toronto, to continue to wow us with her sophisticated red-carpet style.
On Sunday, the actor made her arrival at the Toronto Film Festival to attend the premiere of Without Blood, a film about the brutality of war, which she is directing. The movie stars Salma Hayek, Demián Bichir, Andrés Delgado, and Juan Minujín, among others. Jolie joined her cast on the red carpet held at TIFF Lightbox.
For the occasion, Jolie dressed like a true Hollywood icon, slipping into a sleek ruched black gown with a flowing semi-sheer floor-length skirt with a wavy train. She wore the piece, by Dolce & Gabbana, with matching opera gloves for an extra ounce of elegance.
Staying true to her minimalist style, Jolie accessorized only with diamond earrings. As for glam, she kept it classic with a black cat eye liner and a glossy pink lip.
Jolie knows the power of a great little black dress better than anyone. In Venice last month, she stepped out in a classic sleeveless black column dress with a high neckline and a skirt that fell all the way down to her feet. The understatedly chic piece hailed from the actor’s very own Atelier Jolie.
And as we know, her everyday wardrobe consists of timeless little black dresses that can go from day to night, as well as monochrome staples, fresh sets, elegant pumps, and certainly a lot of great trench coats and sunglasses.
