Model Ashley Graham can do no wrong in our book. The 2016 SI Swimsuit Issue cover star always nails her outfits, whether she’s walking the runway for a major brand or showcasing her street style on her off days. However, the 36-year-old mom of three was recently spotted in footwear that might leave some fans scratching their heads.
Graham attended the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Las Vegas this past weekend, and shared an Instagram carousel of festivities after the fact on Nov. 20. We couldn’t help but notice that in two of the pics, she sported a polarizing shoe trend: split-toe boots.
Love ‘em or hate ’em, the footwear style is a total head-turner. Graham sported a marble white pair in the first slide of her carousel, while the sixth pic in the collage featured a black pair of the booties. While we’re not certain which ones the model and mom of three was wearing, they look pretty close to Maison Margiela’s iconic ($1,250).
Again, whether you adore the style or can’t quite get behind it, you can style the boots pretty much any way you would a typical pair of leather footwear, as demonstrated by the model. Graham wore hers with a long sleeve T-shirt and dark wash jeans, as well as a figure-hugging brown tank top and Army green cargo pants. We’re team split-toe boots around here, thanks to Graham.
