Kylie Jenner’s impressive real-estate portfolio has become a major topic of conversation this year. First, when she broke ground on her whopping five-acre plot of land in Hidden Hills, which she bought in 2020 for $15 million to get started on her “dream mega-mansion.” And then when fans called out her “soulless” estate in Palm Springs for looking like a Costco. Well, the reality star is once again getting attention as new photos have been shared on Instagram of the progress on her Hidden Hills property, and people are shocked by the construction site.
Instagram account @housesofcelebs, which also posted the photos of Jenner’s Costco house, recently posted a carousel of photos showing an aerial view of the build site. There has obviously been a lot of progress on her new home, as the land was completely empty when the beauty mogul initially bought it. The caption on the post says that the house (if you can call it that) will reportedly have 15 bedrooms once it’s finished, but that is not what has fans in a tizzy.
Many commenters are completely unimpressed with the actual construction of the mansion, one calling it a “doll house” and another writing that it looks like it’s made from cardboard. Some are asking why the 18,000-square-foot mansion is sitting on a grass-less plot, but we think it’s safe to say the current lack of greenery is due to it being an active construction zone, so we aren’t going to fault Jenner for that. (Though she really should add a few large trees to the surrounding area if she wants to make the property as valuable as possible.)
Even though a good number of commenters are absolutely tearing down this long awaited progress on Jenner’s mansion, we’re not going to be too quick to make any judgements. We’ll be saving our final thoughts when we can actually see how the mom decorates her newest mansion. We know she’s got room in there for a 12-car garage, but what else is she planning on doing with the space? Stay tuned to see more of what’s to come for the 26-year-old’s new space.
