The Mouse House is not swaying away from the iconic 1937 Snow White adaptation at least in the character design of the Disney Princess. A new merchandise leak has offered the first look at Rachel Zegler‘s royal blue outfit and Gal Gadot‘s Evil Queen in the dramatic & regal attire.
Disney has been awfully silent on promoting 2024’s Snow White movie since Zegler attracted massive backlash for describing the original film in a bad light. The upcoming modern take is not expected to spotlight the love story aspect of the plot but rather focuses on Princess Red Shoes’ journey to becoming a leader.
While there has been no word on a teaser arriving anytime soon – the fandom can find solace in the leaked merchandise created by Mattel, unveiling Rachel Zegler’s live-action Snow White doll. From the blue bodice to the red ribbon and her long yellow gown – the design remains faithful to the animated feature.
The bluebird is also shown floating in mid-air holding onto White’s red cloak. Another leaked image of a figurine shows Gal Gadot’s Evil Queen in a purple Gown, high collar cape and the Raven seated on her shoulder. Readers can check it out below though are advised to take it with a grain of salt until further confirmation.

Due to the SAG-AFTRA strike, Zegler has been unable to engage in promotions for the Disney Princess feature. Moreover, the actress has also been restricted from commenting on her past interviews which gained backlash for construing the Prince from the 1937 animated movie as a stalker.
On the bright side, the merchandise leak is proof that Disney does not intend to cancel Snow White, unlike the claims from unsubstantial reports. Furthermore, the talent behind the screen like Greta Gerwig in penning the script and Marc Webb in the directorial seat has helped in keeping anticipation up.

The live-action will not be featuring the Seven Dwarfs in this iteration and has reportedly replaced them with Bandits. Snow white will arrive in theaters on March 22, 2024.
