Adele has put rumours that she has had fillers or any kind of plastic surgery to rest during one of her Las Vegas residency shows.
Explaining the story behind the now-viral images of her straight face at an NBA All-Stars game in 2022, the Tottenham-born star said, ‘Do you remember that viral meme of me looking like I don’t give a flying f***? I’d like to give some context about that meme.’
She continued: ‘I know it sounds crazy, but I really don’t like being famous, right? So obviously, I know I’m sitting court-side at a basketball game, you’re asking for it. Whatever.’
The ‘Hello’ hitmaker than explained that a camera crew came up to her to ask whether they could film her so they could share her face on the screen at the stadium. When she said no because she’d just cancelled her Las Vegas residency, the camera crew ignored her request and came back and filmed her.

‘The reason my lips looked like I had filler…,’ she began before insisting that she has ‘naturally big lips’ and does not ‘need’ any cosmetic procedures.
‘The reason I looked like a different person was because I was sulking,’ she explained.
Adele has previously spoken of her extensive workout routine, which has previously included working out two to three times a day. ‘It was because of my anxiety,’ she said in one interview. ‘Working out, I would just feel better. It was never about losing weight, it was always about becoming strong and giving myself as much time every day without my phone. I got quite addicted to it.’
